I know most people come to Boracay to enjoy their beautiful beaches and to party the night away, we wanted to go there to unwind and reconnect with each other. Mandala Spa and Resort Villas allowed us to do exactly that. As soon as we walked into their resort premises, we immediately felt relaxed and welcomed. Away from the hustle and bustle of busy Boracay, we found our sweet escape. Of course there are other budget accommodations available on the island, but this one was too good to pass up on.

The Villas at Mandala Spa

The Garden Villa that we got was beyond luxurious. Nestled amidst their impressive garden foliage, we were escorted to our room which we found to be everything that we needed and more. The large king sized bed was decorated with flowers which just shows the fine attention to detail and service. We immediately felt at ease as we slowly explored our room, everything was bright and airy, showing off loads of natural lighting which added to the impeccably designed room.

The bathroom was luxurious as the photos as it boasted of an outdoor rain shower and a bathtub which was again, filled with flowers. This was when we knew we made the right choice to choose Mandala Spa for our mini getaway.  Aside from the Garden Villas, they also have a pool villa which has its own private pool, and outdoor deck. mandala-room spa

The Mandala Spa Service

Being in the travel industry, we know the value of good service. It is what normally makes or breaks a hotel or a restaurant. As soon as we entered Mandala, we were greeted with warm smiles from all their members of staff. Each one went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and at home during our stay. We were given a tour of our villa along with all the other necessary information that we might need throughout our stay. Did I mention our room came with complimentary yoga classes which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Mandala Spa

Having lived in Boracay for a couple of years, Mandala Spa has established itself as the premier go-to spot for wellness, detox, and relaxation. Their wide range of massage treatments, therapies, and just recently, the launching of their Nail Spa, the Cocoon. Their Mandala signature massage was nothing short of relaxing and rejuvenating. Such a treat for backpackers like us! I also love their effort to be environmentally conscious as for every treatment that you receive, they also plant a tree under your name as part of their Treetment Project.

Our Overall Experience at Mandala Spa & Resort Villas

Our stay in Mandala Spa was such a treat for us as we are usually used to roughing it out in budget accommodations. For us, it was the little things that made our stay outstanding. The welcome note and beach sarong and bag that we received, the complimentary yoga classes, the flowers that dotted our villa on a daily basis, and more importantly, the warm greetings of the staff. The room was so beautiful that despite having one of the world’s best beaches right outside our doorstep, we chose to stay indoors as we spent our days relaxing and enjoying everything that Mandala Spa had to offer. 1. What a stunning property! I would love to relax in that tub filled with petals. I feel like I need to add Boracay to my travel list now. I don’t know much about the destination but I know it’s gorgeous.

  4. That bathtub!! Deep soaker tubs are my absolute favourite travel splurges and I’d rather have that than a big room or a great view. I just find it so relaxing at the end of a busy day – and this looks like one of the most gorgeous tubs I’ve ever seen!
